Believe In Yourself!

This is you — live within. Someone powerful.

Many people don’t believe in themselves. They don’t believe if they can live their dreams if they can accomplish what they always wish to do or if they can live the life that they always wish to live.

They don’t have enough courage to believe in themselves — but choose to use other people’s perceptions to determine who they are.

Less Brown, author of “Live Your Dreams”, argues that many people fail in life not because they aim too high but because they aim too low. It can be translated that, many people lack self-believe, they put themselves down and kill what they have inside even before trying to use what they have.

But I have learned that living your life is all about believing in yourself and taking a leap of faith to where you want to be. It doesn’t matter what kind of life you are living right now; what kind of education do you have or where you came from. Anything that puts you into limiting state not to give you what you want but to show you what you don’t have — it holds you back.

Believing in yourself is the best thing you can ever do — it will give you the courage to do the things that you always wish to do, be what you always wish to be and have the things that you always wish to have. It will give you confidence, self-acceptance of who you are and it will increase your self-esteem.

Start to believe in yourself by practicing the following tips then thank me later :)

· Manage your self-talk by monitoring your self-talk in a positive way.

· Take a leap and act now. Start small, stop procrastinating and do the things that you always wish to do. “Be afraid but be afraid not to do it.” –Les Brown

· Give yourself a BIG YES by believing that; “I can do it. I can achieve the things that I always wish to do”. You have to tell yourself that; “If it’s me, it’s me — it is my life and I am taking ownership”

· Give yourself credit, congratulate and celebrate you on the small things you have done, as Lisa Nichols once said “Celebrate your micro-wins while working for your macro-wins”

· Trust yourself and understand that you are enough, “All you can do is all you can do and all you can do is enough”. Don’t wait for anyone to tell you “You can do it” they may not show up.

· Stop focusing on other people accomplishments in a way that will destruct you but start looking at other accomplishments in a way that will motivate or inspire you. You have to appreciate that, celebrate their wins too and learn from them — do not criticize.

· Focus on your strengths rather than wasting your time on improving your weaknesses. You are perfect just like the way you are. You have each and everything. Stop looking for the missing piece. Use what you have — use your strength while still working on yourself.

· Believe that you can do it — someone else did it, if not then you will be the first one. It’s not a miracle, its normal to every human being.

· Understand that you are unique if you want to do something and you don’t have enough skills, credits, people to support you, just believe you can do it — you can accomplish what you set your mind to do without any limitation.

Believe in yourself and stop waiting for anything or anyone to tell you what you can do, sometimes the best thing you can hear are the things that you will be telling yourself. It reaches a time where you will never hear any good things from others except yourself, and believe me, telling yourself different stories it encourages you while puts you in a positive state too.

But telling yourself a different narrative story is to focus on the now, to focus on your strength rather than weakness, is to understand that you are enough and you can anything that you always wish to do.

Lastly; hold the vision of the person that you want to be, the things that you want to do and the things that you want to have. Visualize and envision a great future. Dream big — don’t worry about the “HOW” because “HOW” it’s none of your business — just hold the vision. Work on yourself, trust yourself and do your part.

Again, just hold the vision — HOW is none of your business. If you question too much then you are denying the power within you.
