Ditching the Coming Year!
The Best Things to Do When Finalizing Your Year
Many of us found ourselves thinking a lot when finalizing the year.
But did you also get the time and think for yourself why so serious sometimes?
It is because we figured it out or we didn’t figure it out? I hope your mind understand the truth behind that.
Writing this piece doesn’t have the intention of making things more difficult — in the end, we though ourselves, it won’t be done.
For whatever things may be or look like, now you have to relax, take a deep breath, and understand that there is a way out of that.
You have to ditch what will be coming next, by taking crucial steps when finalizing your year, and those steps are simple as A-B-C-D-E-F
A. Self-appreciation
Appreciate what you have done so far. Either, its what people call it Good or Bad, Failure or Success even if it’s big or small.
Appreciate what you have done so far and feel proud of the little positive accomplishments.
Lastly, make this as a simple affirmation for you.
……….. (Mention Your Name) I am proud that you adopt self-development. I am proud that you adopt self-awareness. I am proud that you are happy, confident, and self — esteemed.
I am proud that you adopt a positive mind and now you can manage well your thoughts and emotions.
I am proud that you managed your morning and night routines.
I am proud that you are mindful, successful, inspiring, wonderful, amazing, and strong.
I am proud that you are healthy, loving, and lovable. I am proud that you did the best you could this year and I am looking forward to more growth next year.
Make that as your end year affirmation. You will feel good about yourself.
B. Cut Off All Self-limiting Beliefs
Self-limiting beliefs can kill you inside. It can destroy you, and it can make your life difficult and you will find yourself using excuses to point all of that into others.
But in reality, it’s not anyone who did all of what you are facing right now, but you alone and your mind.
We have a lot of self-limiting beliefs that live inside our minds, such as I am nervous. I am not good enough. I am shy. I cannot do that it’s for smart people. I am lazy. I am not professional. I am clumsy. I am ugly. I am forgetful, and a whole catalog of additional I’m that you use.
Instead of keeping up with such kind of negativity inside your mind, you should opt to the other way — that which is positive and boost up your life.
You can probably have many positive I’m such as I am loving. I am smarter. I am strong. I am mindful and positive. I am wonderful and amazing. I am beautiful and pretty. I am sweet and I am happy.
C. Gratitude
Be grateful and thankful for your life.
Be grateful for your frequent breath, your body, your eyes, your mind, your soul, your smile shine, etc.
Be grateful for all the good people who are always there to support and inspire you to do the great things.
You may also choose to list 10 of them and acknowledge them personally for what they have done to you so far.
End your year and start your next year with journaling.
Build a habit of listing 3–5 things that you are grateful for — every day. This will help you manage your energy on the things that you want to see only and put your attention, energy, and focus on it.
D. Self-Analysis
It’s good to finalize this year with a self-analysis action.
When we analyze ourselves, we know where have we been, why we are where we are now, and where we are going, and who is going with us exactly.
Putting this question into paper, make us think critically and it also brings the subconscious mind into work and helps us bring miraculous in what we do.
Analyze, analyze, analyze — yourself. It’s so powerful.
For my side, I use PIF to do this kind of self-analysis and it’s really helpful.
E. Plan
You have to plan and make sure what you have planned, has to be practice.
Get real, get practical and get going
Do the Goals set; what you have accomplished and what demanded you. Have goals that inspire you and motivate you. Goals that will wake you up without an alarm clock.
Have a Vision board; where you will be able to see your coming future. How do you want your future to look like? Put it visually.
Have a Milestone board; where you will break your goals into small action — to be done monthly or weekly. Make sure what you put in your milestone board, comes from the Vision board.
Have a To-Do list; now making sure what you will be able to do in your daily activities it’s something from the Milestone board.
F. Enjoy and Have Fun
I remember, I and my friend, we're looking for something but unfortunately, what we did for that day, nothing really worked.
We come to realize at late nothing will ever work so we have to get back home and rest.
We were tired, pissed off and a lot was going in our mind but what we have decided then is to go and watch a movie.
It was a Jumanji movie. It makes us laughing and laugh. The small laughter shifted our energy and make us end our day happily.
So, when finalizing your year, it will be really good to forget that which doesn’t work, which makes you unhappy and put your focus on the things that give you positive energy.
Don’t forget to have fun. Laugher should be part of your daily routine.
