It’s Not What You Don’t Have — It’s What “You Think”

I had this friend of mine who will always say “I want to do business but I do not have the capital to start with.”

And I told her, “I was in the same situation when I was in the University but I managed to start selling clothes to my schoolmates in my class with only 5 dollars.”

And she replied to me “It’s because you had a loan that is why you were able to do that”

And I told her, “I didn’t get a loan. I told her that it was my own personal struggle — looking for funds to cover my daily expenses like accommodation.”

And then she replied, “It is because you were a University student and you know a lot of people and that you are beautiful that is why they supported you.”

Then I replied back to her, “Aren’t you beautiful like me?

She said, “I am but there are things if I would have, I would be able to call myself beautiful or if I am Zari or other famous beautiful women in Tanzania

Then this was my last reply to her “you have no idea how worthy you are, how beautiful you are and what you are capable of doing in your life”

What I learned from that friend of mine is more about “the reasons — not to — because”.

Many people are just like her, they want to do something but they come up with a bunch of reasons and excuses — because — not to.

People are willing to focus on what is missing in their lives — what they do not have rather than what they have.

They forget what they do have and being grateful for life instead of ceasing.

Today we woke up healthy but there are people who cannot even get up from their bed and some of them even wish to have good health so that they can live their dreams but they aren’t able to do that at the moment.

Many of us are comfortable to choose reasons more than results.

We opt to see difficulties and challenges more than opportunities. We put our minds in a state that creates more limiting beliefs — at the end of the day, we find ourselves doing nothing.

You have your own mind probably some people don’t even know where they are or what they are doing, simply because they are crazy.

You have your soul in your body appearance, but some are dead and wish one day they would return to their physical experience and do their true assignment or what they supposed to accomplish in this world.

You have your own body you are alive, healthy and energetic to do the little and big things but some are in the hospitals in their death bed, they wish to be healthy again and return to their state of well-being.

So what is your excuse?

What are the things that you think you do not have and you cannot live like this or you cannot accomplish something?

You better stop limiting yourself and cut all the self-limiting beliefs that reduce even your self-worth, take away your courage, steal your self-confident and bury in the ground your self-esteem, dreams and goals.

Start thinking in an abundant way.

Plan your vision, mission and execute what you put there. Go live your dreams and manage your self-talk and imagination about yourself in a positive way.

In short — just go and live BIG.

It’s is not what you do not have, its what you think.
