Manage your morning routine and win your morning with these 7 tips
Have a Reason Why You Want To Wake Up Early
I wake up every morning at 4:50 am “To Be Able To Do My All Morning Routine” such as drinking water, praying, do gratitude journal, reading, reflecting, smiling and exercising, it took me 2hrs to do that, then from 7:00 am I start my day and follow what’s in my to-do list but I will make sure at 8:00 am I left to the office. Understanding WHY you want to make it early will give you energy activation when waking up and it feels good!
Practice Self-Talk
It’s really hard when you want to start a new routine in the morning but if you are able to manage your self-talk you will win the game. Make a promise to yourself by talking to yourself that you want to wake up early and be productive, talk to yourself what you want to accomplish and why you are doing that, take a notebook and write it down or talk to yourself in the mirror.
Quite Snoozing
Scientists discovered that the time you hit snooze button it deleterious your brain function and productivity that makes you start a new sleep cycle that lasts 90 to 110 minutes long. The first thing to do during the morning is, when your alarm goes on, please do not snooze, if you snooze you will lose; you have to remember the reasons why you set up your alarm last night and get off the bed.
Use the 5SecondRule
In her book, Mel Robbins talks about the “The 5Second Rule”. It requires you to take action within 5 seconds without delaying or denying. It necessitates you to physically move within a five-second window, and when you move your physiology changes and your mind follows too, by counting 5–4–3–2–1-GO! This rule will help you get out of bed as a Rocket; it will act as energy activation.
Get Off the Bed and Make Your Bed
You have to get off the bed within a moment after your alarm, step off your bed and make your bed. In one among his talk Dandapani said “The process of making your bed is the process of finishing up the process of sleeping” doing that it’s the process of telling your mind automatically “Do not get into bed again” and your mind will take that and direct your body into other activities.
Program Your Mind
Spend your morning time productive, read or listen to something productive because the first hour during the morning is the best hour that your brain focuses and operates in a high frequency when receiving information.
Read for 15–30 minutes something productive like a Self-help book or anything that related to something you are part of or you want to become.
Do not read newspapers that contain information about gossips or negativity instead do something productive like listening to motivation audios or videos. It will help you raise your self-esteem for that day. If you turn into any kind of negative information just remember you are still flesh and all negative information will ruin your day.
Exercise and Smile
You have to live your life with energy, prepare your day with good strategies to carry you on, through exercise you will become strong, perfect and you will feel good about yourself, but also when you smile it representing how happy you are feeling but also it’s the good meditation for the day.
Understand this, your morning always determines your day, so managing your morning routine is the best thing you could ever do. If it happened you spent your morning unproductive your whole day will be unproductive too.
As a how type and a show me person, I already practiced all tips and all of them worked, it’s a guarantee it will work for you too. Get the best results by practicing these tips consistently for 21 days without quitting, just start small by making sure you are doing something every day.
