Get Comfortable with Your NO
The day you become comfortable with your NO there is when your YES will get value.
We have this assumption inside our minds that, saying NO is like you are disagreeing with a person but in reality, you are denying the thing that was presented to you.
Doing that doesn’t mean that you are disrespectful or annoying but you are being real with yourself and you are giving yourself the freedom to do the other things that you were supposed to do — instead of bumping into the things that don’t support your goals and who you are.
The day you learn to say NO these 3 things will happen;
You will have a limit
When doing things, your focus will shift and align with your goals because “the cause of failure is doing too many things in an inefficient manner, and not doing enough things in an efficient manner” — Greg McKeown.
You will remain true with yourself
We have our own values and principles that guide our life. Getting outside your values is like neglecting who you are in order to fulfill the expectations of others.
Saying NO will give you the freedom to be who you are and become comfortable enough to express your real needs.
Increase your self-worth value
You will only have time to say YES to the things that matter to you and your life. It doesn’t matter how people may choose to define or perceive you.
But in the end, they will understand how worthy or serious you are with your life. Honestly, you will be in need if you have self-worth not being unworthy.
Get comfortable with your NO and make NO your vitamin.
