Many people read books but they don’t do them, I am here to remind you that it’s not healthy. I have this friend of mine, he used to tell me that “May Be If The School Tell Us Why We Should Read Books Then I Would” and the school never tell him why he should read a book, so it’s my hope till today he didn’t read any book. Too bad!

But also, the goal is not to read and finish the book then closes it, stop that, you are not in a race; the goal should be; To Read the book and Do the book

My Real Confession

I discovered a lot of this world secret through books. I found a different way to find my purpose there, my inner strength, inspirations, motivations, and so many things. It was July 2018 I committed to myself to read more books and do them and at the end of the year I found myself within 6 months, I read 28 books and I changed totally.

My skillsets changed, my perspective changed, I begin to see the world differently, I begin to be positive toward life and people even the way I talked to people, changed completely. For a short period of time I come to discover why those books give me tremendous changes, and it’s just one simple tip and that is “Read the book and Do the book” and this is what it means; -

Understand What Are You Reading

Have your own choice what kind of book you want to read, don’t read just because you see someone is reading that, you have your own core values so read something that aligns with your core values, or what you are doing or any self-improvement books because you will improve your mindset.

Have Goals and Develop Your “BTG” (Books Target Goal)

You need to have a list of books to read in a week, month, or even yearly. Plan your target how many books do you want to finish per week, month or even a year then follow that, but also don’t read to finish the race on your goals but read to understand. Setting goals will help your mind develop a desire, your mind will just wait the time you finish to reduce dopamine inside your body; it feels good!

Do the P3

The P3’s include Practice, Penetrate, and Perceive.

Practice what you have learned from the books, let it penetrate in your mind, body, and soul, after that you have to change your perspective from other people and show your difference simply because you read enough.

Share What You Have Learned With Others

Sharing what you have learned is the other way to make you understand what you have read even more. Share with friends, classmates, your family, spouse, girlfriend e. t. c. The more you share, the more you learn.

Do The Quotes Inside The Book

Most of the time books have a lot of quotes inside, but what’s makes the difference between cramming those quotes and just reading them is how you use them in your daily life by letting them reflecting your personality. Do them well.

Read More Personal Growth Books

These are called self-help books or self-improvement books. They are so strong in shaping your mindset and preparing you to who you want to become. Don’t just start with any book you will become destructed and you will find yourself losing interest in reading books but in reality, is you didn’t prepare your mind to do that.

But also you have to make reading as a fun activity don’t take it too seriously enjoy every moment, remember you are not in school to get grades but you are in the position of developing and improving yourself.

I am happy sharing these tips with you because they helped me a lot and by implementing them, I promise you that you will be unstoppable on your way to the process of reading books successfully. I did it and it worked.
