The Power of Positive Affirmation
An affirmation is anything that you say or you think. It can be Positive or Negative. Good or bad. Success or Failure. Hell or Heaven, its anything that you say or think about yourself and mostly comes through self-talk with the escort of “I am” words or the use of present tense when talking about you.
The time I learn to use “Positive Affirmation” is the time I have seen a tremendous change in my life. There is a power in affirmation that’s why most of our great teachers and gurus tell us to use affirmation in a positive way because every word we speak about ourselves its affirmation, and our mind doesn’t care if that affirmation is positive or negative, it will always pick that and let it dominate in your thinking for tomorrow’s creation and manifestation.
I mostly use I am affirmation during my affirming process all the time, I even download those affirmation apps like “Daily Affirmation” (check here) and I have them in my phone, they are helpful and they really do change my feelings and emotions in a second.
So if the affirmation is anything that you say or you think, then you have to retrain your thinking into a positive pattern where you will be able to say and think in a way that will be connected to your inner self.
And through affirmation, you are creating your own life experiences from your thinking patterns, that will create the same behaviors and same thinking pattern all day all long. So if you think, feel or say life is so difficult, life is so bad, life is so unfair to me or life sucks — guess what, you will experience the same too.
All the things that you experience from your inner side will be presented outside through your emotions, words and even how you respond to people, events and situations.
But here is the good news, you can always train your mind to do the things that you always wish to do for the good sake.
If you are feeling bad and you are not in a good mood right now, believe me, you can change that in a second, yes, it is possible, if you believe that. It’s just the matter of raising your frequency and vibration so that you may align with your reality and positive affirmations are really helpful when it comes to that.
An affirmation can be used as a solution if used in a positive way and in a way that helps us; like
It can be used to create happiness, for instance, if you are not happy and you want to be happy, the first thing that you are supposed to do is to shift your thinking into happy thoughts and affirm “I am happy with myself, I am happy with my life, I am happy with everything in my world”
It can be used to develop faith; hopes, and courage by affirming only the positive things in a way that encourages you, gives you hope and keep your faith strong. For instance, “Life is so good, life is so easy. Everything is good in this world and I expect something wonderful it will happen to me today”
It can be used to create confidence; in a situation, you are feeling like you are not confident it’s because you are not accepting yourself that you can do it. Affirm “I am confident, I believe I can do it, I am brilliant enough and I accept myself as who I am”
Affirmation creates a positive attitude too if you are facing a challenge or any difficult moment just look on the positive side and wear a positive attitude toward it.
Create a happy atmosphere through affirmation and remember to use something that presents you like the use of “I am” in your sentence or the use of present tense.
It will be hard for the first time, but you have to train your mind and if you manage to do it in 21days continuously and consistency regarding the time of your choice either in the morning or evening for 5–10 minutes you will see tremendous change about yourself.
It’s unseen, but faith is most important and if you set your mind to believe that then it will happen to you, same applied to the other side.
