What Are You Waiting For?

Waiting for something to get something is like waiting for someone to give you permission to breathe. Do you know what will happen? You will end up dying.

Working in your dreams, big goals and visions that you have been set for yourself require you to take action to get you where you want to be.

But, instead of taking action, many people found themselves waiting until they do forget what they were waiting for.

They are waiting for the perfect moment to act, waiting for the right people to show up to act on their plans, waiting for money to carry on their projects, waiting for education to practice a certain skill, waiting for right body to become who they always wish to be, wear or even act. They are really good at waiting and waiting — and just waiting.

But do we really understand that “Nobody is going to get us where we are right now to where we want to go?”. It only us who can decide for ourselves first believe me, as May Angelou once said, “Nothing will work unless you do”, so what are you waiting for?

Living your dreams, you have to be unapologetic, unreasonable and committed to your dreams.

Carrying excuses or justifications, reasons or blames — won’t take you anywhere and it won’t do you good. If you decide to be committed to working on the person that you want to become, just get started.

Start adopting the simple system that will disrupt your mind patterns;

Decide what you really, really, really want

You have to get clarity with what you want. if you don't get the clarity you are confusing your inner GPS.

Be specific to the things that you want to achieve or the person you want to become, then find a notebook and write it down each and every description and how life will look likes after achieving what you really wish.

You may choose to add pictures or anything that will keep you in a good mood after seeing that.

Plan

Plan on the process. Ask yourself big and empowering questions.

Like,

What kind of skills will you be required to learn? What kind of books you will be required to read? What kind of people will you be required to associate with? What kind of things will you be supposed to quit?

Execute your plans and implement them; from the list of the things that you are supposed to do, make an execution and implementation plan, how activities will be conducted, where and when is the deadline?

Prepare a milestone board where you will be able to do your plans weekly or monthly then while preparing your to-do list. Make sure your milestone board activities appeared in your to-do list while assuring yourself that you will do something every day — consistently.

Do Self-analysis

On the things you are doing to measure your performance, you may choose to use MY PIF track sheet where you will evaluate yourself every Sunday, weekly for further development to maintain your purpose, inspiration, and focus.

Read more about the PIF Plan Here.

Get Stronger, Get Wiser And Get Better

Read books that inspire you and practice what will work for you. Associate yourself with like-minded people; get rid of energy vampires who suck your energy all the time — anything or anyone who consumes your time, consume your life.

Choose wisdom over information and choose knowledge over money.

Face challenges don’t run away from them. Take a lesson then next time do it differently, quit excuses and do it for your own, it’s up to you to make it happen in, either way.

Don’t forget to work on yourself continuously, each and every single day to be the best version of who you are — don’t satisfy, you have unlimited potential inside you.

Have Faith In What You Are Doing

Lastly, you really need to have FAITH in what you are doing.

As this world is full of illusions and unconscious being. Unconcious beings will always try to find some people to relate with them so that they can have their sense of purpose.

For conscious being like you, you always believe first so that you can be able to see it — to them, you will look like a crazy person. Don't be afraid.

This is what Les Brown taught me “If people can’t see for themselves, they can’t see for you too”

My dear, stick to the plan and don’t get mad if no one understands or supports you. Exercise your will power and have the self-belief that you will make it but then do it for you — don’t compete with anyone even the person next to you.

Do it in your way and have faith with yourself. God will do His way too.

“If you don’t act on life, life has a habit of acting on you.” — Robin S. Sharma
