Where Does Motivation Come?
Living our lives, it is necessary to have a reason why we are doing what we opt to do.
We need to have stored backup energy that always gives us energy and power to do something bigger and accelerate our lives forward.
As for my side, I have been motivated by what I call them “The PIF”. But through My PIF I have some necessities list to do so that I can maintain that energy and keep myself consistency.
I had a chance to listen to various speeches but also read some mindful books where I found common things that motivate people to do their best without hesitation.
I practiced them and they are really helpful — you can also try them for yourself;
Visualization; when we visualize our future we see possibilities ahead of us. We see the end results that we want to see of the present situations, focusing on that it gives us reasons to keep struggling. But also builds our faith muscles as we believe that soon enough life will change for the better.
Gratitude; having the feeling of abundance, that “there is enough for everyone but also there is enough for me” makes us happy and appreciate what we do have for the meantime.
Gratitude is the appreciation of the things that we do have right now while waiting for the situation to change.
There is no need to be unhappy, holding negative thoughts about our present situation. We can opt to appreciate all the things that we do have today and trusting God will change the situation.
As Wayne Dyer once pointed out that “If you don’t know to appreciate what you have in your life, you don’t need anything”
Read; knowledge gives us the power to awaken our consciousness and also help us understand who we really are.
We have to develop ourselves through reading so that we can become open-minded and stick to the things that we have to accomplish for our future.
Through knowledge we get wisdom, without a doubt, we can become more easily motivated.
Preach Your Dreams; when we speak about who we want to become motivates us in a way that we are sharing our future.
It is a way for others to understand or know who we are and who we want to become so that we can receive good support from them and if feels good.
But don’t share your dream to the small minds — they will end up discouraging you.
Music; music rise different human vibration. It gives us the power to imagine in a different world. Through music, we can create our own world with its own feelings and vibration inside our mind.
Write a Journal or Diary; when we crawl our story represents who we really are. When we write we connect with our subjective mind and concentrate in a way that will make us to not think anything rather than what we want to become.
Writing our goals, dreams or anything that we wish to achieve gives us the power to move forward.
Spend Time with Nature; spending time with nature is a powerful medication, especially when enjoying the sunset or the sunrise, and so many of the God creatures. It is good to let your eyes wander to see the beauty of this world.
Give thanks to God when ending your day or start your day gracefully with a smile on your face.
It is my hope that you get something new today. Just find one that can work best for you and stick with it :)
