The most important person in this world for you is YOU! and the most important relationship that you have is the relationship that you have with yourself in your life and when you neglect this fact something else will happen and you will start working against yourself.

Les Brown once said “There are people who die at the age of 21 and be buried at the age of 40 or whatever age but late” …this happens because many of us live like we are not alive letting life happen to us instead of making life happen for us — simply because we are not strong enough to grow through life and let ourselves go through life, choose to go with options rather than following our own choices.

Many people don’t work on themselves, they love junks that don’t support their life or even improve them; you may find some people spend two or more hours when they wake up early in the morning on social media sending an abusive text or staying home without doing anything while keep blaming the government, parents, and others for their unplanned and miserable life instead of focusing their time on something productive.

Have you ever asked yourself “Why we are charging our phone or updating some apps inside the phone?

We are charging our phones, updating them or even replacing them with the new one, but we are human being we can’t be that instead, what we can opt to do is working on ourselves to be able to become the better self of who we are, strong and brave enough to grow through life.

Learning to work on yourself first requires a new mindset. Update your mindset by deciding to focus on the productive things; things that always make you productive, attractive, and support your life positively.

Read the following foolproof guide while working on yourself — become strong, active, effective while sticking consistency with what you are doing in your life.

Stop Working Against Yourself

Working on yourself you must align with your inner self, choose the general acceptance from who you were created to be. If you want to be happy then be happy, if you want to be free then be free, if you want to be anything then be anything. Take what it takes but make sure you will make it — then life will give you what you really deserve.

Stand Inside Yourself

Sometimes monitoring yourself it’s hard, due to the habit system that you already established. Working on yourself will help you monitor your self-talk and kill that fear inside you by doing things, and putting things into action. There is this quote from African Proverb that reads “If there is no enemy within, the enemy outside can do you no harm.”

Take Full Responsibility for Your Life

Stop blaming, complaining or anything that causes justifications to the other person — you will never grow by doing that. Understand that you are responsible for your life, and the time you accept this truth, you will make room for more improvements in your life. “You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself.” — Jim Rohn

Forgive Yourself and Forgive Others

Working on yourself is more about accepting who you really are, and self-acceptance comes when you forgive yourself. You have to grow through life, growing includes forgiving others too because you will live your life peacefully. If you don’t forgive its hard to grow. Forgive, let go, and grow.

Read Good Books that Inspire You

Improving yourself, you have to program your mind by feeding yourself with mindful content. When your mind believes in the positive things, your life perspective will change too and you will start to do things in a way that life will support you — doing things in a certain way.

Stay Inspired and Motivated

Live your life with energy and always work on something that you love. Stay with friends who are positive and supportive, stay in a positive environment — a place where you will be able to learn something mindfully, and don’t allow any destruction, destruct you.

Try New Things and Focus on Your Time

Get out of your comfort zone and take some time to understand yourself while doing self-reflection and self-analysis.

Say “NO” to the Things that Don’t Improve or Support Your Goals

Stay productive by directing your energy on the things that only matter to you, things that make who you really are — things that produce, happiness, joy, laughter, or freedom.

Understand this, the best project you will ever work on is YOU! Don’t be willing to put your all effort working 12hrs working for someone more than you do for yourself.

You have to work on yourself continoulsy and it’s a full-time job — 24/7
