You Are in Competition with Yourself

A major key to success in this life is to attain what you really desire to be, do or have.

We all have desires about what we really want to achieve in life, but desiring something sometimes puts many of us in a need state — to do better or be better.

It can be in your company, the workplace or in your class. With that attitude, there is no problem with that as your initial intention needs to be attained.

However, the “need” I want to be better, I want to be the best or I want to be great “more than someone’s or anyone’s else” puts you in a competition zone.

I have known many people who will dare to say

“Someone did something just like me, how dare he/she copied me?”
Or
“Someone took my idea; I am going to fight him/her!”

And so many scenarios related.

Just a reminder, one among the foundation to mindset transformation is to adopt abundant thinking.

You have to root in your mind that we human beings are the creators of this universe.

You and I have the power to create something great and unique in this world. We all have something different that differentiates me and you from anyone else in the world.

While organizing your thoughts, understand that:

· You are the creator. You can create anything by using your thoughts, words, and action.

· You are a powerful and wonderful creature in this world and you have something that anyone else doesn’t have but “only you.”

· There is no competition because we are all different. What you will bring in table someone else will. Yes, it will happen but totally in a different way.

· You are a uniquely wonderful, amazing, wise, beautiful or handsome. The unique features that you own, someone else doesn’t have.

· You are blessed and the world can’t wait to see what you have. God created you for a certain purpose, it is only you can do that — no one else.

· No one is going to sing your song, dance your dance, and smile with your shine. Look at your fingerprint — you are a unique being.

· Understand that there is enough for everyone, and there is enough for you. Don’t have scarcity mindset that you can’t get something if someone has it. You can have that if you have an abundant mindset — affirm “there is enough for everyone and there is enough for me. And all that I need is coming to me”

The goal shouldn’t be to be better than anyone else.

The goal should be, to be better than you were yesterday.

Be the best version of who you are.
